    Here you find the chapels

Due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the chapel in the public area of Terminal 1 of Frankfurt Airport is only open during the office hours of the airport chaplaincy; the chapels in the transit area are still closed. We ask for your understanding.

    ➊ Terminal 1, Gallery

The airport chapel is the central venue for church services, devotions and concerts. At the moment, this building in Terminal 1 is under reconstruction. Therefore the chapel and offices are now housed in temporary rooms. For this reason, the wonderful stained glass windows by Johannes Schreiter are currently being removed and cannot be seen.

    ➋ Terminal 2, Transit, D

The wall objects of the Viennese artist Brigitte Kordina invite you to see your own signs of life ...to be tracked down and perceived in the orange light signals.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, this chapel is temporarily closed.

    ➌ Terminal 1, Transit, B

The stained glass windows designed by Angelika Weingardt leave traces of light, pointing to traces of life that have been kept in something larger.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, this chapel is temporarily closed.
